Alpha is a series of interactive video and discussion sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question around faith, like ‘Who is Jesus?’ ‘How Does God guide us?’ and ‘Is there more to life than this?’
People host Alpha all around the globe—in cafés, churches, universities, homes, online—and anyone is welcome to attend!
What does an Alpha Session look like?

Connection
Whether in person over a meal or virtually with a cup of tea, all sessions start with a time to connect, relax and build friendships. Eating food together creates space for people to connect and share life on a deeper level.

Content
The Alpha talks are designed to engage people from all walks of life and inspire conversation. They explore big questions like “Who is Jesus?” and “How does God guide us?”

Conversation
The discussion time is an opportunity for people to respond to the talk, hear from others and contribute their own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

Alpha Youth Talks Africa with [insert language] Subtitles
Alpha Youth Talks Africa is designed to engage young people across the African continent in meaningful conversations about the Christian faith.
Alpha Youth Talks Africa is a video series adapted from the global Alpha Youth live scripts, presented by African voices. The content mirrors the 2017 Alpha Youth series, with 13 episodes, and the same theological content exploring timeless questions about life, faith and Jesus for a new generation. The fresh African presentation makes it a powerful tool for engaging young people across our continent. The series offers compelling stories, images, and discussion topics interspersed throughout the short talks, making it simpler for youth to share their thoughts and questions.

Give to Alpha
Alpha is always offered for FREE so that nobody is excluded from hearing the good news of Jesus. To do this we rely fully on the generosity of donors. Can you help us?
Alpha Sub-Saharan Africa has its own local infrastructure, staff and costs. Whilst being partly supported by generous donors around the world, there is a gap that needs to be met through local fundraising.
To see lives transformed, please consider partnering with us by making either a once-off donation or becoming a Friend of Alpha by pledging a monthly donation.
Every gift makes a difference. Any amount is appreciated.
